On Tuesday, April 5, 2016, the Association 'PERPATO' in collaboration with the Youth Advisory Station Rodopi, held a demonstration of the Paralympic sport, sitting volleyball to the students of the 4th High School of Komotini.
The action took place in the area of the closed gymnasium of the school and under the supervision of the gymnasts of the school. Five sections of the three classes of the school initially watched audiovisual material with fragments of sitting Volleyball competitions, were taught basic regulations of the sport and then got to know it through experiential exercise.
The purpose of this collaboration was for the students to experience a very interesting Paralympic sport and consequently the development and dissemination of the Paralympic Movement.
